Welcome to Allied Renewables Ltd.
Whether you wish to integrate solar energy into your new-build, carry out a retro-fit of solar panels to an existing property, or install a solar farm we are here to help you.
Suitability Criteria: If your roof faces between south-west to south-east and is not over-shadowed by trees or buildings then your roof should be suitable subject to it being strong enough to take the additional weight, our Surveyor will advise if a structural survey is necessary. If you do not have a suitable roof it may still be possible to have a PV system either on a suitable outbuilding or on a ground mounted frame, please contact us for further information.
In England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, you will not require planning permission for a domestic PV system subject to certain criteria being met, our Surveyors will be pleased to advised you. However we advise you to contact your local planning officer particularly if your home is a listed building, is in a conservation area, an area of outstanding natural beauty or a world heritage site.
Generally, free systems or roof / land rental deals are only available to our larger commercial customers, property portfolio owners, and land owners where the financial returns justify the considerable investment by our investors. We prefer our domestic customers to invest in their own systems and to benefit from the long-term income and savings rather than receiving a nominal fee and a faceless finance company reaping the majority of the benefit. Further information on 'Free PV' can be found at:
System size and cost will vary depending upon ease of access, structural stability of the roof and its physical characteristics. A typical Allied Renewables domestic system will cost in the region of £2,750 - £4,800 per kWp. Please contact us to obtain an estimate or arrange a survey and firm quotation.
No, we do not wish to compromise our integrity by including a simplistic calculator on our site. We prefer if you would contact us with your premises details and we will provide an estimate using satellite imagery for your actual location. Please refer to the Energy Saving Trust Website where you will find an online calculator which, we feel, is unbiased and provides better information than most simple online calculators.
Our highly competitive pricing structure results in us achieving returns on investment for our customers generally between 9% - 12% per annum. Detailed figures will be provided following a site survey, please contact us to arrange.
This depends on a number of factors including location, orientation, inclination angle, shadowing etc. Please contact us and we will arrange a survey.
